Flight Mode was staged on Sha Lo Wan Island — the only shoreline in Hong Kong running parallel to an airport runway. In this site-specific dance performance, music and movement unfolded in dialogue with live air traffic: each takeoff and landing a structural beat, each aircraft a collaborator. As the sun set over the water, the work drew together nature, the body, and technology into a single sustained image.
